I think your gains are going to be very small and its going to take a long time to get results. You may want to try something called starting strength or do a 5×5 routine. References :
Personally, I think the routine is sound. There is no need to perfrom a "5×5" routine at all, as you stated that you use abbreviated training as a preference.
There is in no way any justification in saying "your gains will be slow" as you have also stated that you have gained 7lbs in only two weeks; even for gaining lost muscle that’s fast!!
Assuming you progress at each and every workout .i.e. add poundage or a rep or two to each exercise week in and week out, you WILL do well on the routine.
It is good you are following an abbreviated routine, and that you are not exercising your ego like many trainees do. The additon of all the compoun exercises you have mentioned will allow you to build a great deal of mass, especially since you are taking in a great deal of protein (if you’re under 180lbs that is).
Spending 20 minutes in the Gym is absolutely fine!!! It is MORE than enough. This will stop you going into catabolism mode assuming you take a post-workout meal.
