    Novices benefit more from something like a 3-day a week full body workout routine, not a bodypart split like you’ve been using. There are a lot of professionally designed programs out there with the exercises, sets, reps, and rest laid out for you already. Try it.

    Once a week! Work out at high intensity.

    Monday – Chest

    Tuesday – Legs

    Wednesday – Back

    Thursday – OFF

    Friday – Triceps + Biceps

    Saturday – Shoulders
