Try lifting light weights,so you can do more reps and burn fat. This will get you ripped quickly, if you follow this routine 3 to 4 time a week. References :
i l ove working out with weights, but CARDIO is what is needed to burn off the fat from the muscle. CARDIO is anything that gets your heart beating..like running, basketball, swimming..etc. AN example of this is this say you wanna get a six pack and do sit ups but dont see the package..the reason why is because your forming the muscle inside of the fat and in order the burn it off you need to do cardio. ALso eating habits also need to change. That is my biggest problem. well good luck on your workouts I know it takes lots of dedication and mental power. References :

Eat low fat n nutritious stuff when you get hungry. Not all those junk food n meat…eat lotza green vegs they’ll keep you young longer, reducing the production of free radicals in your body.
And most important of all don ask how to do exercise at such casual places like yahoo answers about how to do exercise.
Why? coz doing exercise in the right way is very important because ppl are really ill informed in this matter and doin it wrong way affects your muscle developement n even health big time which could be even irreversible. You wanna get ripped and that’s not something you are going to achieve in a fortnight. Go to a professional or get details from a reliable and professional physical health site. References :
Try the following : do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don’t over 60 minutes at a time.
Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don’t look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
