    Nobody should ever strive to be strongest at one exercise. You should be balanced. I try to be as strong as I can at every exercise.

    Deadlift or clean-and-press is my choice – they are the best test of overall strength because they use the most muscles at one time. After that squats, then MAYBE bench press (or pull-ups).

    Deadlift.It works your back,Quads,Hams and Forearms.Basically the whole body.Benching only works your shoulder,chest and tris.It dosent measure any strenght.Deadlift does.The rule of thumb is if you can pull 2times/bodyweight you are strong for your weight.
